Elizabeth Grimes, 88, of Canadian, TX passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012 no services are scheduled. Cremation is under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX.

Elizabeth was born July 2, 1923 in Wichita Falls, TX to the late Mr. James Eubank and Mrs. Blanche (Gholson) Eubank. She married Robert Grimes on October 8, 1942 in Muskogee, OK. He preceded her in death in July on 1979. She moved to Canadian in 1980 from Pierre, SD. Elizabeth was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by two sisters.

She is survived by two sons; Robert and Joel Grimes both of Amarillo, TX; three daughters, Gale Wright and husband Wayne of Canadian, TX; Marsha Fitzpatrick and husband Pat of Amarillo, TX; Juanita Schoolcraft of Roswell, NM; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Edward Abraham Memorial Home, 803 Birch, Canadian, TX 79014.
