Memorial services for Norma Milburn, 79, of Canadian, TX will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Rick Timmons. Inurnment will follow under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX.

Norma passed away Thursday, April 5, 2012 in Canadian, TX.

Norma was born December 13, 1932 in Miami, NM to the late Mr. Charles Baker and Mrs. Nettie (Dudley) Baker Salazar. She attended numerous schools in New Mexico. She married Leonard Milburn on July 8, 1950 in Santa Fe, NM. He preceded her in death on August 31, 2001. They moved to Canadian in 1964 from Kansas. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sons, Wayne and Jackie Milburn and her grandson, Rusty Milburn.

She is survived by her children, Roxanne Lovell and husband Kenneth of Canadian, TX; Doreen Purcell and husband Don of Canadian, TX; Paul Milburn and wife Leonna of Canadian, TX; Vivian Cornelious and husband Richard of Perryton, TX; her brothers, Leonard, LeRoy and Gene her sisters, Charlotte, Rosie, Bonnie and Gladys her daughter-in-law, Sandie Milburn of Canadian, TX; her sister-in-law, Leola Ramsey of Missouri; her special daughters, Sylvia Francis of Oklahoma and Kim West of Texas; her special friend, Marie Clark of Canadian, TX; 16 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Hemphill County Hospice, 1020 South 4th St., Canadian, TX 79014.
